“The center of Kiev, thanks to the Ukrainians for the first visit of foreign leaders of brave Europe to Kiev, partially surrounded by Russians,” Michał Dworczyk, the former head of the Prime Minister’s Chancellery, wrote on Twitter, posting pictures of billboards in the center of Kyiv.
“Poland has been a leader in aid from the very beginning”
Although the Polish opposition, which cannot get over the fact that it pursued erroneous and naive policies towards Russia during its rule, lies and manipulates today, accusing the PiS government and Orlen of financing Russian aggression against Ukraine, it tries to portraying themselves as anti-Putin from the very beginning and responding with anger (and lawsuits) to recall the truth about their policies towards Russia, it seems that the Ukrainians are clearly unconvinced by Poland’s alleged funding of the crimes of the Putin regime.
How to determine that billboards with the faces of, among others, appeared on the streets of Kiev in recent days. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, PiS President Jarosław Kaczyński and the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic and then Head of Government of Slovenia?
The center of Kiev, thanks to the Ukrainians for the first visit of foreign leaders of brave Europe in Kiev, partially surrounded by Russians … Today everyone visits the capital then there were not too many brave … But they was the leader of the relief from the beginning!
– Michał Dworczyk, the former head of the Prime Minister’s Chancellery, wrote on Twitter, posting a photo and a recording in which the voice of a Ukrainian saying “Thank you, Poland” can be heard.

Polish volunteer on the visit of Prime Ministers
On March 15, 2022, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, PiS President and then Deputy Prime Minister for Security Jarosław Kaczyński, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala and Janez Jansa – then head of the Slovenian government, were the first foreign leaders since the start of Russian aggression against Ukraine to visit Kiev. At that time, the Russians shelled the Kiev region.
It was very motivating for the Ukrainian army. I don’t know how the Ukrainian nation approached it, but the soldiers in the trenches saw it in such a way that if the prime minister of the Polish government is not afraid to go there at such a time, it’s good. Ukraine fights and does not give up
– Mr. Jerzy, a Polish volunteer fighting alongside the Ukrainians to fend off Russian aggression, recently told RMF FM.
He then noted that the visit made a deep impression on Ukrainian citizens and was “one of those positive signals sent out by the West after Zelensky failed to flee Kiev”.
Thanks to this, this Ukrainian defense has endured even to this day
– assessed the Polish volunteer.
The great gratitude of Ukrainians to Poland (and that gratitude goes both to citizens who took in refugees and supported a struggling Ukraine in various ways, as well as to the government and the president) has been mentioned several times by, among others, our journalist Jakub Maciejewski in his book “War .Report from Ukraine.
Editor Maciejewski, who has been reporting on the events at the front especially for you for months, has in any case emphasized several times that the Polish passport opened all doors for him in Ukraine.
