“God save us from this Saint Catherine syndrome of the nineties, which was a straight path to the destruction of the Polish patriotic camp (…). “I am convinced that in a few months, in the unity of our entire camp, we will boldly move towards – hopefully – another victory,” Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said at the congress of the OdNowa Association.
The congress started at noon in Warsaw. In addition to Prime Minister Morawiecki, it is attended by deputy prime ministers, among others: Head of the Ministry of National Defense Mariusz Błaszczak, Head of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage Piotr Gliński and Head of MAP Jacek Sasin.
“We must boldly look into the future, plan and strategize for further improvement of the Republic of Poland.
The Prime Minister pointed out that “OdNowa is a very good name for a political movement that is an indispensable part of the Polish United Right, the patriotic right.” As he said, this camp “broke with everything that was bad in the times of the Second Polish Republic.”
He stressed that the restoration work of the Republic of Poland is “a tedious, difficult work that takes a lot of effort and a lot of time”.
Therefore, we must look boldly into the future, make plans and strategies for the further recovery of the Republic of Poland, because what we have been able to do so far is a good basis for the future, but it is only part of our big plans . , which should make the Republic of Poland strong, sovereign, yet more just and sympathetic
said the head of government.
He added that it has often been said in the past that politics can only be right or left, and the important thing – as he noted – is “whether we are moving forward or standing still.”
In the Third Polish Republic, we retreated or stood still, and when we moved forward, it went at a snail’s pace. This had to change and has changed in many areas, and this must continue to change, looking forward
noted Morawiecki.
“God save us from the 1990s Saint Catherine Syndrome.”
The year 2015 was It was a successful year because the President of Law and Justice Jarosław Kaczyński was able to lead to the establishment of the United Right
said the head of government.
We know very well that in this time of tremendous turbulence, crisis after another, which fell like thunder from the blue black swans on our heads, we could not cope without this unity.
he stressed.
Mateusz Morawiecki thanked the deputy head of the Ministry of National Defense, the president of the OdNowa Association, Marcin Ociepa, who “in the difficult turmoil that threatened the disintegration of the United Right, has contributed to the preservation of the unity of the United Right.”
It was the key moment of this semester
added the prime minister.
God save us from this 1990s “Saint Catherine” syndrome, which was a straight path to the destruction of the Polish patriotic camp. Today we are united and this unity forms the basis of our policies
he continued.
Mateusz Morawiecki judged that the United Right camp “could differ like a camp from a marquee”.
I am convinced that in this way, in the unity of our entire camp, in a few months we will go boldly after – let’s hope – another victory
noted the prime minister.
OdNowa Association
The OdNowa Association was founded in 2021 by politicians who had ties to Jarosław Gowin’s agreement in the past. Following Gowin’s resignation and the departure of his associates from the ruling coalition, Marcin Ociepa and MPs: Anna Dąbrowska-Banaszek, Grzegorz Piechowiak, Wojciech Murdzek, Andrzej Gut-Mostowy founded the OdNowa RP Association in September 2021. Shortly afterwards, PiS head Jarosław Kaczyński announced that a political agreement had been reached between PiS and OdNowa on cooperation in a joint club.
