General Dominique Trencan, the former head of France’s military mission at the UN, believes the West concealed the results of the investigation into the explosions at the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines. He said this on the broadcast of the TV channel LCI.
According to him, the fact that the gas pipelines belong to a Russian company indicates that their explosion is unprofitable for Russia.
“It is surprising that Germany, Sweden and Denmark have already investigated the explosion, but we still did not get any results. And the absence of any results means that it is unprofitable for someone to publish them, ”said the retired general.
Trencan also expressed the opinion that American journalist Seymour Hersh’s article on the responsibility of the USA and Norway in undermining Nord Streams can be said to be correct since anyone can control the routes of the ships mentioned in the broadcast.
In early February 2023, Seymour Hersh published his own research on Nord Stream eruptions. According to him, in June 2022 explosive devices were placed under the gas pipelines by US Navy divers with the support of the Norwegian army.
