“This investigation is the result of a very painstaking, almost Benedictine work by prosecutors. It is mainly their success!” – this is how the Minister of Justice Zbigniew Ziobro spoke about the procedure in the Włodzimierz Karpiński case in the program “Gość Wiadomości” (TVP Info).
This case turned out to be surprising. (…) Another suspect decided to cooperate and revealed the trade in false VAT invoices. This practice reached Warsaw
he noticed.
The drama is that if officials and politicians (…) want to extort bribes for arranged tenders, those who have to pay for this mess lose. (…) When dealing with bribes, always who should bear the cost of these bribes
emphasized the minister.
The Prosecutor General noted that the money was transferred in wineskins and that the corruption practice in this case amounts to PLN 5 million.
A very sad practice, because corruption always affects the interests of ordinary people
noted the “News” guest.
The material is very strong. There are extensive statements by the accused, there are documents corroborating these materials and there are other evidences that have strengthened the whole of the evidence and hence these court rulings.
he explained.
Accusations from the opposition about the reliability of prosecutors
Zbigniew Ziobro also referred to the allegations of the opposition, which claims that the actions of the prosecutor’s office are politically motivated.
According to Tusk, Mr. Nowak has always been honest, then and now. The problem is that it is the independent courts that Mr Tusk is defending that he will arrest
said the Minister of Justice.
I will always defend prosecutors against these heinous and unfair charges
– added.
Trzaskowski’s attitude
Zbigniew Ziobro commented on Rafał Trzaskowski’s attitude towards the recommendations of the C40 Cities organization towards major cities, including Warsaw.
These are the words of President Trzaskowski himself, who – as far as I know – assured his support for the recommendations of this association
– noted the leader of Solidarna Polska.
It’s all madness! It’s also crazy to argue for a reduction in car use
– added.
As he emphasized:
They – PO – can implement it. They supported the ban on the sale of combustion cars in the EP, meaning that Poles would only buy electric cars in the future. (…) PO is willing to do it for this madness, for this ideology, just to suck up the EU. We, as Solidarna Polska, will do everything we can to prevent this.
Memory of the cursed soldiers
The Justice Minister also referred to the National Remembrance Day for the Cursed Soldiers.
I have a personal relationship with it – sentiment. My grandfather was one of the Unbroken Soldiers. He was sentenced to life imprisonment in 1947. He was sentenced by Colonel Schnepf. He did 10 years. (…) He survived draconian torture. After all, there were those who were killed with a shot in the back of the head. Today we owe them the truth, a free, sovereign, democratic Poland that we can try to build today
– said Zbigniew Ziobro.
It is our duty to restore the memory of their heroism, especially since the communists wanted to erase the memory of their heroism.
– added.
As he noted:
I saw enormous resistance in the ranks of the legal community. These people were called “bandits” by prosecutors and judges of independent Poland. (…) This shows how much the Polish judiciary was involved in communist affairs.
The Minister of Justice used a specific example.
When I see Mr. Iwulski, who is still the Supreme Court despite the waiver of his immunity, it is a bad sign. This is a symbol that shows that even today it is so difficult for the environment of the “extra caste” to defend such people
– he said.
