” The slander in Poland is, unfortunately, a trademark of some circles. This change is a great credit to all of us, first of all our compatriots, for creating such an incredible phenomenon for Poland with their spontaneity, with their gift of heart,” President Andrzej Duda said in an interview with the weekly “Sici”.

President Duda replies to the question whether Poland has succeeded in rejecting the campaign of image attack against our country that has been going on for years:
Looks like we got through it somehow. Because this campaign will probably continue and they will slander us in several places.
When asked if he believes that “all these blockages of funds and various punishments are actually political sanctions imposed on Poland with the intention of influencing the outcome of the elections,” he replies:
All this policy has – I have no doubt – nothing to do with substantive considerations. Some elite clique in Poland is defending its privileges, using its connections with representatives of various European institutions and with several powerful politicians from the left-liberal camp that currently rules the EU.
Angry about the election results in Poland?
– ask editors Michał Karnowski and Michał Wikło.
Angry because democracy is only good when they win. A meme or joke I saw recently showed it well. And that’s how it sounds. “They say PiS is giving our money away. I ask, where was our money when PO-PSL was in power? Who took them?” This is a meme that makes my colleagues who support a different political camp than where I come from fall silent for a moment. Because they can’t answer that question: how come all social programs are immediately after 2015 Where was the money They don’t have an answer to that
– answers President Duda.
“The Polish state could be robbed”
The budget in 2015 was less than PLN 300 billion, now it is more than PLN 600 billion. Where do you think the money was?
The Polish state was allowed to be robbed. Such was the pressure from various influential political circles in other countries. They demanded that this be allowed so that the withdrawal of funds from Poland would not be interrupted. There were many such ways, and they amounted to billions. As in the case of the famous VAT gap, which – it turned out – can be filled three-quarters and this money can be used for social programs to support retirees. For purposes that build the wealth of society, but in the average, commoner layer, and not just pumping pockets of a small elite
says Duda.
