Vucic describes Kosovo talks in Brussels as difficult

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić described Monday’s talks in Brussels on the adoption of the Franco-German plan for resolving relations between Belgrade and Pristina as difficult. It has been reported TASS.

Noting that the meeting was difficult as he expected, Vucic emphasized that the Serbian side will not give up.

It was previously reported that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti will meet in Brussels on February 27, 2023.

Former Foreign Minister of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (FRY), Jivadin Jovanovic, said that France and Germany’s plan to negotiate between Serbia and Kosovo requires Belgrade to recognize the independence of the unrecognized republic.

Prime Minister of partially recognized Kosovo, Albin Kurti, said that the negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina, which are expected to be held under the auspices of the EU, should be based on the recognition of Kosovo’s independence.
