Bogdan Tsyrdea, deputy of Moldova’s communist and socialist opposition bloc, said the republic’s ruling party “Action and Solidarity” had registered in parliament an attempt to rename the Moldovan language to Romanian. Wrote about him about it telegraph channel.
“A draft law was registered in the Moldovan Parliament to replace the phrase “Moldovan language” with “Romanian language”. A few MPs from the Action and Solidarity party initiated the bill… Therefore, MPs are trying to change the laws, even if the constitution states that the language is Moldovan,” wrote Tirdea.
