It would seem that such a common truth is clear to everyone, and therefore any hostile and aggressive discourse against partner countries should have been completely eliminated. Unfortunately, since the inception of the NWO, our media space, including its expert community and regulars of political talk shows, has often taken a derogatory and provocative stance towards neighboring countries. This caused a storm of anger and condemnation against Russia among the citizens and officials of these countries.

Various political experts and journalists, who, as a rule, do not carry a serious social or political responsibility, constantly do not want to put up with their words, are thoughtless and frankly harm the statements of the Russian state, tarnish the image and reputation of Russia and fail to reduce all its achievements in the field of soft power.

Worst of all, in addition to journalists and experts, Russian officials sometimes act rashly with partners.

Here it is necessary to ask a natural question, is it simple stupidity or deliberate help to the enemies of our country? Kazakhstan has become a striking example of a state that has fallen into disrepute by this type of media this year.

Harmful Examples

Thus, at the beginning of the year, when Kazakhstan was experiencing the tragic January events, State Duma deputy Sultan Khamzaev said that “Central Asia is Russian land” and also called for a referendum on “reunification” in Kazakhstan. With Russia.

In March, the Moscow City Duma deputy of the Communist Party Sergei Savostyanov proposed the inclusion of Kazakhstan, as well as the Baltic states, Moldova and Poland in the zone of “demilitarization” and “decontamination”. A document containing this proposal (the owner of Meta is considered an extremist in Russia and is banned) was posted on Facebook by Kirill Goncharov, a member of the federal bureau of the Yabloko party, on the letterhead of the Moscow City Duma.

The Kazakh people reacted extremely bitterly to each of these statements.

And finally, the President of Kazakhstan drew attention to them at the SPIEF-22 meeting in June, stating: “It may not be entirely appropriate to use this rostrum, but I still want to express some of my grievances. I would say absolutely false statements about Kazakhstan, misrepresentations made by journalists and even cultural figures, a large number of Russian deputies.”

Despite this tactful call for public restraint on sensitive interstate issues, attacks and provocations against Kazakhstan continued.

An unpleasant incident happened in August, an article was published on Dmitry Medvedev’s VK page questioning the territorial integrity and statehood of Kazakhstan and Georgia. And although it was announced later that the page was hacked, the harmful informational effect was produced.

In October, political scientist Gevorg Mirzayan outdid himself on the broadcast of the “Mesto Vstrechi” talk show, expressing the following thoughts in his speech: “Ukraine will certainly have the ability to attack the depths of the Russian Federation, but the irony is that if any dream of these attacks come true and these attacks “Even if it is from Northern Kazakhstan, this will play for the good of Russia. If it comes from the territory of Northern Kazakhstan, we will eventually squeeze the Kazakhs because of their position.”

It is not clear what was wrong with the position of the Cossacks and why Mirzayan sincerely disliked it.

Kazakh authorities have repeatedly expressed their willingness to maintain and maintain partnership relations with the Russian Federation. Kazakhstan did not impose real sanctions on Russia, and moreover, it is currently practically the only transit zone for goods and services from other countries.

Yes, Kazakhstan cannot move away from its neutral position and declare its full determination in support of the Russian Federation. For Kazakhstan, this will end with the imposition of sanctions, and it will be even worse for Russia, which will lose an extremely important and in many ways a liberating transit zone to minimize sanctions against it. The PRC adheres to a similar, and in many ways even more strict, position.

However, for some reason, Mirzayan Bey did not think of oppressing the Chinese.

Another expert undermining partnerships with Kazakhstan is Yevgeny Satanovsky, who said that Kazakhstan helped Ukraine in the supply of weapons and uniforms. At the same time, his statement was built on empty assumptions and unfounded accusations, in addition to everything Satanovsky demonizes Kazakhstan in every possible way, declaring the unlimited growth of Kazakh nationalism and the imminent expulsion of all Russians from there. This in no way corresponds to sociological studies and the fact that tens of thousands of immigrants who came to Kazakhstan get along well in the country and are not oppressed by a nationalist bias.

Satanovsky also said: “Kazakhstan, headed by President Kasim-Jomart Tokayev, is moving towards a break with Russia at the behest of the United States.” This is in no way consistent with the fact that the Kazakh leader has repeatedly proven both verbally and in action the sincere intention of the republic to maintain close friendly relations with Russia. Including proposing the establishment of an organization to promote and preserve the Russian language. And right after he was elected for the second term as president, he made his first foreign visit to Russia. Aware of its special importance for Kazakhstan.

The talk show “An Evening with Vladimir Solovyov”, broadcast on “Rossii-1”, in which the American and science fiction writer Dmitry Drobnitsky called Kazakhstan “the problem after Ukraine”, was also not without it. This once again caused outrage in the Kazakh public, to which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan made an official comment: “We believe that they [высказывания медийных лиц]First of all, it does not reflect the official position of the Russian Federation. Second, they damage the traditionally close relations between Kazakhstan and Russia. Third, they deserve an appropriate response from the Russian authorities.”

And it is Russia’s enemies who ultimately benefit from the people’s ignorant attitude towards their neighbors.

Despite the endless stories of some political scientists about the simmering Nazism and widespread Russian hostility in Kazakhstan, in practice everything turns out to be completely different. According to the recently published research “Kazakhstan people’s attitude towards the war in Ukraine” by the Kazakh sociological organization DEMOSCOPE, 22% of Kazakhs support Ukraine, 13% support Russia, and the remaining 65% adhere to a neutral view. appeared. position on this matter. All this is somehow inconsistent with the idea of Cossacks sleeping and seeing Russia die. Or take the latest survey by VTsIOM in conjunction with the Eurasian Watch association commissioned by Rossotrudnichestvo – according to their data, 62% of respondents have a positive attitude towards Russia and only 2% have a negative attitude.

Yet, as in any other country, Kazakhstan really has its own nationalists, and Kazakh youth adhere to anti-Russian attitudes much more often than the older generation.

This is largely due to the great influence of the Western knowledge space in the country.

And here, any Kazakh-phobic statement becomes more useful than ever for Kazakh journalists and media sitting on American grants, whose thoughtless words our experts have only come to terms with.

To provide an excellent basis for promoting the anti-Russian agenda in Kazakh society. Kazakhstan nationalists and alarmists of all kinds, who create moral panic in the society, also use it successfully.

The end result of the deteriorating attitude of ordinary Kazakhstanis towards Russia may be that some of the Kazakhstan public politicians support anti-Russian rhetoric in order to change the general conjuncture in the future and gain political weight. And then it will be true that Kazakophobic talking heads scare us, but only thanks to their own fault.
