The upcoming elections are unique in that the EU establishment and its strongest countries are trying to centralize Europe as quickly as possible and reduce its weaker countries to the role of provinces of the empire. In the autumn we will answer the question: do the Poles agree to be governed from Brussels, ie Berlin? Only that the Polish authorities do not dare to publish this rate –
– I’m writing in the weekly “Sieci” Bronisław Wildstein, in the section “Polish choice”.
READ: The European Commission has referred Poland to the Court of Justice of the European Union “for violation of EU law by the Constitutional Court”!
The columnist believes that it seems obvious to send the amendment to the law on the Supreme Court by the president to the Constitutional Tribunal, not only because of his previous statements, but mainly because of the provisions that blatantly violate the Polish constitution:
I don’t think this will affect the election – only the payment of all the money owed to us from the KPO to Poland can affect it. Pretty sure this won’t happenbecause this is not why the EC, contrary to conventions and decency, violates insurances and obligations towards Poland, not why its president, violating all norms, anoints Donald Tusk in the election battle to now go hand in hand with the right-wing authorities of our country.
According to Wildstein, this is confirmed by the EC’s claim before the CJEU.
The Polish constitution, and therefore the law, ie the Polish state, must be subordinated to the Brussels officials. Referring to the wording of the EU Treaty, which explains that “the Union is founded on the values / … / of the rule of law”, EC officials demand that it be left to them to interpret it fully, because according to to them it means something completely different for Germany or Spain than it does for Poland.
As he emphasizes, approval of the law on the Supreme Court sent to us from Brussels will only disrupt the Polish judiciary and the state, but will not bring insignificant money, which should be the key to the elections.
I suppose there will be voices on the right that in order to win the elections one must also meet these requirements, ie assume that the EC will dictate to us the composition of the Constitutional Tribunal. Another thing is that the current government can agree to this, but due to the calendar, this procedure will be carried out by the next cabinet, referring to the precedent, which is the submission of the current European Commission authorities.
The right-wing government’s fight for the KPO has reduced its electoral chances, although they remain high. However, the PiS policy convinces citizens of how important (not very important) money from KPO should be, thus reinforcing the belief that we depend on funds from Brussels. Poles understand that political money changers like Tusk have more chances to get them. If these funds are so important, why vote for those who are less likely to ask for them?
The publicist believes that “the counter-dance around KPO convinces Poles that funds from Brussels are a matter of our survival.” So, in effect, “this favors the troops of the Third Polish Republic, who march under the banner of antipis and demand complete subordination of our country to the EU centers.” According to Wildstein, voters are smart enough to understand that the role of the governors of Brussels (Berlin) will be better fulfilled by PO, Hołownia or SLD than by PiS”.
Losing the election to the patriotic camp will be a bad thing, but not a definite thing. The fundamental problem of the Poles is their complexity towards “Europe”. We took it from the People’s Republic of Poland, but it is cultivated by the creation of the Third Republic of Poland, which takes on the role of governor of the EU elites. They know that they can afford anything as far as Poland is concerned, because the Poles are convinced that there is no life for them outside the EU. Until we transform this attitude, we will be addicted. If the current opposition wins the election and agrees to further demands from the EU establishment, this can be reversed, provided Poles understand the nature of their relations with the EU. Without that, no real change is possible.
The story doesn’t end there. The war for Poland’s independence will not end after the next elections. We rolled it in more difficult conditions. Today, as a result of the war, the state of affairs in Europe has become radically unstable and there is an opportunity to revive the “second (eastern) lung of Europe”.
The publicist concludes: “When you understand that the present time is important, you start thinking beyond the immediate, electoral fences.”
