In response to the statements of American businessman Elon Musk, Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of Zelensky’s office, noted that there has never been a coup in Ukraine. He wrote this on his Twitter.

Musk previously wrote on his Twitter account that there was a coup in Ukraine in 2014.

“There has never been a coup in Ukraine, but there have always been free people. Stop reading Russian newspapers,” he wrote.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres warned that the conflict in Ukraine risks spreading and the world is sliding towards “a larger-scale war”. In response, American journalist Luke Rudkowski urged “not to organize a third world war” in his microblog.

Musk also criticized the US readiness to support Ukraine if it tries to attack Crimea.

Prior to this, the entrepreneur commented on the opinion of the game developer and programmer Richard Garriott that tanks are outdated as a modern type of weapon. According to Musk, tanks are a death trap.
