Janina Ochojska continues to absurdly attack the Polish government. In an interview with wp.pl, the member of the opposition parliament said that Poland is not a humanitarian power at all, as the US ambassador put it, and that the government, like Putin, is engaged in propaganda. She also threw a stone in the garden of Civic Platform – according to Ochojska, Tusk’s party is not prepared for the elections.
Helping refugees – revolts, instead of the system
According to Janina Ochojska, “It is not Poland as a state or government, but citizens who have opened their hearts and homes to refugees from Ukraine.” The MEP stated that Polish aid is “split” and “the need for continued systemic aid, mainly from the state”.
Of course the EU is helping Poland, the proof is in the documents and data. And if the government believes that this aid should be greater, it should request it
– said Ochojska, adding that the government failed because it did not collect data on refugees. She also stated that the statements that the war came suddenly are not true because “after the outbreak of the invasion, the rulers claimed that they knew about it for several months”.
So why didn’t they create a database system to collect information about visitors from Ukraine at the border? (…) Without volunteers who are independent of the government, the system would not be able to cope. Because the state didn’t care
the MEP was furious.
According to Ochojska, the government will do nothing to counter xenophobia and aggression against Ukrainians in Poland, because “it doesn’t care”.
The xenophobic and racist hydra sometimes rears its head
– she said, adding that even if it is on the fringes of society, it is loud and dangerous.
Ochojska also stated that she was opposed to plans to build a wall on the border between Turkey, Bulgaria and Greece to prevent migrants from Africa from reaching Europe, and that the money should be allocated, for example, to combating climate change that could affect migration causes.
Propaganda like in Russia?
When asked about the C40 Cities report, which mentions a drastic reduction in meat and dairy consumption, among other things, Ochojska said these are just recommendations, but they were made by scientists based on research. According to her, the right “uses this subject for propaganda, in which it is much stronger than the opposition with Civic Platform at the forefront”.
PiS reduces this case to absurdity, claiming that the European Union will make us eat worms, ban meat and take away cars. He uses it in a vicious way to manipulate people
Ochoyska thundered.
She argued that Law and Justice uses “its propaganda fantastically”.
They do this propaganda just like Putin. They can do it perfectly
she said.

A pebble for the garden PO
According to the opposition MEP “the Civic Platform cannot do that”.
PO cannot play positive propaganda. Yes, you can always say that the opposition has limited resources. But not only these measures are necessary. You need a concept, an idea on which to base all communication. There is no OP
said Ochoyska.
There was also “good advice” for Tusk’s party. Ochojska said that instead of colleagues “who don’t know what they are doing”, the issue should be dealt with by specialists to develop “one coherent policy direction that will be the axis of the campaign”. But that’s not the end. Ochojska also allowed herself an argument that Donald Tusk may not like.
Compare the message from PiS and the message from the PO. The PiS message – however deceptive – is one. Consistent. Decided. Reiterated by all PiS delegates. In the Sejm, the Senate, in the European Parliament. And the PO message? Everyone has their own agenda there. Your ideas, your opinion, your opinion. There is not one message. There is no effective strategy that requires developing a plan week after week. Voters may feel very confused by this
she said.
Ochojska added that there is less and less time before the elections, and that the opposition voters and themselves do not know what the PO’s message will be based on. At the same time, as she said, “PiS has everything ready.”
The MEP also said she was “very afraid” of the election results.
Continuing her arguments, she stated that Law and Justice won the 2015 elections by scaring Poland with illegal migrants carrying diseases, and that the PO could not resist and “to this day is afraid to talk about migrants”.
He is afraid because he thinks it will hurt them in the campaign. I don’t want to touch this topic. If I were advising President Donald Tusk, I would advise him to move forward with this subject. So that he is not afraid of him and shows this PiS lie that comes out like straw from shoes
– said the MEP, adding that she herself tried to “get” Tusk to “talk to him about it”.
Attack on the border patrol
Ochoshka again attacked the border guard. She argued that “37 people have already died on the Polish-Belarusian border, and there will be more, as almost 300 are missing.”
Taking this into account, it is impossible not to talk about genocide. I say this deliberately. Beatings of specific people, nudges – it’s all documented
– continued Ochojska, convincingly that “protecting the border is not about building a wall, but about knowing who crosses this border. And the Polish Border Guard does not know that.
Our border is not safe, not because of refugees, but because of the border guard, which cannot perform its duties properly. The firefighters are said to have great equipment, receive a lot of money from the EU, are still undertrained and break the law
said Janina Ochoyska.
Whose interests is Janina Ochojska defending by attacking the officers defending Polish borders against illegal migrants and talking about Putin’s propaganda? What about Donald Tusk? After all, it is his political grouping that represents Ochojska in the European Parliament.
