Anti-reform protests turn into riots in Colombia, newspaper reports El Timempo.

Protesters threw Molotov cocktails and smoke bombs at the police. Colombians demand the disbandment of riot police.

The action started because the public disliked the government’s proposed reforms, including health care reform.

Previously in Jerusalem passed mass rallies against the judicial reform project.

Protesters gathered near the Israeli Knesset building (the country’s parliament), where the parliamentary debate on the first chapter of judicial reform will begin. Israeli police estimated the number of protesters at 20,000. It was noted that many protesters came to the demonstrations from Tel Aviv and the center of the country, and the trains to Jerusalem were jammed.

Opponents tried to prevent some lawmakers from the ruling coalition’s ranks from leaving their homes. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called it “not in line with the spirit of democracy”.
