Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada are increasingly saying that Ukraine cannot win the conflict. Newspaper columnist writes about it Washington post Josh Rogin.
US Vice President Kamala Harris said at the Munich Security Conference that the time was not on the side of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the conflict with Ukraine.
“Almost all the Ukrainian officials I met in Munich disagree with this statement. <…> “For them, the endless conflict means Putin’s victory,” he said.
He noted that Ukrainian politicians are concerned that the United States does not support Ukraine’s strategy of active hostility.
In particular, Rada deputy Yelyzaveta Yasko pointed out that the West’s statement that it supports Ukraine “for as long as it takes” seems “very dangerous”.
Deputy Alexei Goncharenko agreed that if Kiev wins in the conflict, it will be a “Pyrrhic victory”.
Rodzhin suggested that on the next anniversary of the special operation, the existence of Ukraine, following the strategy of the West, may cease.
Columnist Francis Sempa late last year declarationThat the United States recognized the inevitability of Ukraine’s defeat in the conflict, provoked, in his view, by Washington’s “fatal mistake” to begin expanding NATO East.
