President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in Istanbul. Reported by the Turkish agency Anatolia.
The meeting was held in the Vahdettin Mansion, one of the residences of the President of Turkey, closed to the press.
The agency emphasizes that no further information was provided about the meeting as Turkey grappled with the February 6 earthquake in the southeast of the country that killed more than 44,210 people.
It was noted that Azerbaijan was among the first countries to send rescue teams and humanitarian aid after the devastating earthquakes.
