“From the very beginning of the events in Ukraine, India has insisted on resolving this conflict through dialogue and diplomacy. “India is ready to contribute to any peace process,” he said.
He also noted that reforms should be made in multilateral institutions, especially the UN Security Council, in order to better reflect global realities.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said he met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. According to him, the two countries are at a good level of cooperation and are ready to strengthen it.
As Scholz pointed out, India-Germany relations will be one of the topics of his talks with Modi. He added that the parties also expect to discuss a number of issues related to “world peace”. At the same time, Scholz did not specify what kind of peace initiatives he would be talking about.
