“I think it would be rational and the decision is obvious. My conversations with Zbigniew Ziobro show that he feels the same way. Our tent is wide. There are differences, but mainly tactical,” said PiS chairman Jarosław Kaczyński in an interview with the weekly “Sieci” when asked whether PiS will go to the next elections as the United Right.

Election battle
The PiS president replies to the question of Jacek and Michał Karnowski whether the opposition united on one list or on several opposition lists will be a more dangerous opponent:
These are overvalued items. Both variants have advantages and disadvantages in our opinion. One list does not automatically add up the votes, as the opposition discovered in the 2019 European elections. Any solution gives us a chance to win, provided we work very hard, do our best, are united. And we will not reach the Poles from the other side, because it is impossible to convince them, but those who are on the sidelines, whether they used to be with us and then retreated. And provided we can withstand the media bombardment that has already begun.
Fraudulent election story
The conversation also raises the question “what are the positions for which the elections can be manipulated?”. According to President Kaczyński, this is “looking for an alibi”.
I think it’s looking for an alibi. If anyone in free Poland fell victim to electoral irregularities, it was our party during the local government elections. At the parliamentary level, the 1993 results aroused the most doubt, not in the sense that SLD and PSL would not have won them, but not on that scale. Accusing us in this area is absurd, after all we have just sealed the system to make such attempts almost impossible. And increasing the number of electoral commissions does not change the electoral rules, it is part of ensuring equal opportunities for all citizens
says Kaczynski.
