Polish Ambassador to the European Union Andrzej Sados said Warsaw had agreed to accept the EU’s tenth package of sanctions against Russia, on a set of conditions. He told this to reporters DEA News.
As the ambassador said, Poland suggested that the European Commission consider the alleged illegal deportation of Ukrainian children to Russia and immediately begin work on sanctions against Belarus and sanctions in the nuclear sector. He explained that the latter referred to sanctions against Rosatom and the company’s management.
Also, Warsaw demands the introduction of sanctions against Russian diamonds, the creation of a mechanism by the European Commission to monitor and create a quarterly report on the diversification of imports of synthetic rubber from Russia by EU countries.
The EC is also asked to begin imposing sanctions against Russian “propagandists”. According to Sados, Poland has submitted more than 150 names to the EC and there is already an agreement to include them on sanctions lists “in a very short time”.
