Poland, Germany and France will support Ukraine

A year after Russia unleashed a full-scale ruthless war, the leaders of the Weimar Triangle express their unwavering solidarity with Ukraine and their unqualified support for Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders and for its inalienable right of self-defense against Russian aggression. The countries of the Weimard Triangle will continue to strongly support Ukraine and its people for as long as necessary. They call on Russia to cease hostilities unconditionally and to withdraw its troops from the entire territory of Ukraine

The leaders also reaffirmed their commitment to coordinate efforts to meet Ukraine’s urgent equipment needs.
Poland, France and Germany fully support Ukraine in exercising its right to defend itself against a Russian invasion, including by providing military and defensive assistance, and will continue to do so for as long as necessary, including in the context of the European Peace Facility and through the EU Military Assistance Mission (EUMAM)

The signatories to the statement also declared their commitment to implement the new principles of NATO’s deterrence and defense attitude and to increase the Allied military presence in the eastern part of the Alliance.

The document also reaffirms the will of Poland, France and Germany to support Ukraine in post-war reconstruction, including rebuilding infrastructure destroyed by Russian aggression, “as well as ongoing international coordination efforts for economic reconstruction and recovery in Ukraine. “
