On the anniversary of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz again appealed to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to end the suffering. “Putin has it in his hands. He can end this war,” Scholz said in a video broadcast on Friday.
Putin will not achieve his goal
Scholz emphasized that it is not arms supplies from the West that prolong the war.
On the contrary, the sooner the Russian president realizes that he will not achieve his imperialist goal, the greater the chances of a quick end to the war.
