Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, spoke at a briefing about the planned meeting of Russian and Chinese leaders Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping.
He stressed that the heads of state are maintaining a close dialogue and that the Kremlin will inform on this as the outlines and dates of a future meeting are revealed.
“We value and maintain our enhanced strategic partnership relationship, which means regular communication between heads of state,” the spokesperson said.
On February 22, Vladimir Putin will receive in Moscow the head of the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CCP) and a member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
