Following today’s speech in Warsaw, President Joseph R. Biden Jr. met with Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Warsaw to reaffirm strong bilateral ties between the United States and Poland

The White House stressed that President Biden welcomed the Polish government’s decision to select US-based Westinghouse as the technology provider for Poland’s first three nuclear reactors, which “strengthen the long-term strategic energy partnership between Poland and the United States.”
The communiqué added that Biden and Morawiecki also discussed other common priorities, including support for Ukraine and cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region.
