Law and Justice MP Paweł Lisiecki, as well as Warsaw PiS City Councilors Filip Frąckowiak and Piotr Szyszko went to the capital’s City Hall for an inspection to ask questions about Warsaw’s participation in the C40 Cities organization. President Trzaskowski was not at the town hall because he is on vacation, but the inspection participants submitted their questions to him in writing. The wPolityce.pl portal got to know the contents of the above-mentioned letter.
President Trzaskowski is not here, he is on vacation. However, in connection with information about Warsaw’s participation in C40 Cities, we have requested documents signed in connection with Warsaw’s presence in this association, which recommendations are being implemented
– he emphasizes in an interview with the portal wPolityce.pl Paul LisieckiMember of Parliament. It mainly concerns the issues related to the C40 Cities report, which contains recommendations on actions that would be taken to achieve the climate goals. Among them was a proposal to radically reduce the consumption of dairy products and meat, which caused a storm in Poland.
Questions from the inspection participants to Rafał Trzaskowski
Below we present a letter with questions from the participants of the inspection submitted to the Warsaw City Hall. As can be seen, they were the costs of Warsaw’s participation in the C40 Cities organization, as well as the obligations incurred by the city as a result of membership in this organization.
The questions to President Trzaskowski also included questions about Warsaw’s possible reduction of meat meals in its junior schools, kindergartens and daycare centers.
The MP and council members also ask questions about President Trzaskowski’s delegation in Buenos Aires, in connection with the C40 Cities meeting. It concerns the costs of this delegation, in particular information about who has paid for accommodation and flights.
