On Friday, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration, Mariusz Kamiński, spoke by phone with Ukraine’s new interior minister, Ihor Klymenka. The main topic of their conversation was the continuation of Polish-Ukrainian cooperation in the context of the ongoing war.
During today’s conversation, both parties confirmed their will to continue cooperation and implement joint ventures. It was stated that the Polish services would continue intensive cooperation with their counterparts on the Ukrainian side

Continuation of cooperation
According to the ministry, Minister Kamiński assured the Ukrainian Minister of Poland of full support for the fighting Ukraine.
Poland supports the Ukrainian services (police, border service, rescue and civil protection services) at all levels. This is assistance with both the transfer of equipment and training, as well as support for Ukrainian war refugees residing in Poland and ensuring their safety
– emphasized the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration.
Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada approved Klymenko’s candidacy for interior minister on February 7. He assumed the duties of the head of the Interior Ministry from January 18, when then-Minister Denys Monastyrski and his two deputies were killed in the crash of a government helicopter in Browary near Kiev.
During the conversation, the head of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration expressed his condolences to the Ukrainian minister for the tragic death of the victims of this disaster.
