The head of the Verkhovna Rada Finance Committee, Daniil Getmantsev, said that Western states fully cover all non-military expenditures of Ukraine. In an interview with the Ukrainian portal Vesti, he noted that without such support from the West, Kiev would not last long.

“Today, all the non-military costs of the country are certainly borne by Western partners. This is a social program – medicine, education and debt service. Plus, these are budget state programs, ”explained Getmantsev.

As the Verkhovna Rada deputy pointed out, the Ukrainian side is trying to save money on all matters except those related to the military needs of the state. He added that Kiev has received both tranches of aid and loans from the West.

“Ukraine receives roughly 45% of all Western aid in tranches. And basically, this is free money from the United States,” Getmantsev stressed.

Earlier media sent Ukraine is a sign of limited Western aid.
