“The problems are different in different countries and the governments of these countries have the right to look for solutions” – said Prof. Andrzej Przyłębski in an interview with wPolsce.pl, commenting on the activities of the European Union, e.g. towards Poland.
prof. Andrzej Przyłębski spoke to wPolsce.pl television during the presentation of the album “Mazurek Dąbrowskiego. Pictures, words, notes” prepared by the De Republica Institute.
Our main task is to promote Polish humanities, Polish research in the field of social sciences, also abroad. We’re going to release more and more stuff there. More and more international conferences will be held. As a result of my inspiration, two conferences will be held. We must return to the idea that the wealth of Europe is the wealth of national cultures, also in the sense of conducting state affairs
said Przyłębski.
European Union actions
Prof. Przyłębski also referred to the actions of the European Union towards Poland and other Member States.
If the European Union imposes on all countries how to deal with crises, how to create a pan-European criminal law, it will be one big catastrophe. Problems are different in different countries and the governments of those countries have the right to look for solutions. Perhaps the competition of these solutions will lead to progress in Europe. Imposing a single solution by the EC (…) does not work
– he said in an interview with the TV station wPolsce.pl.
