On Tuesday at 5:30 p.m., U.S. President Joe Biden will deliver a speech to the Polish nation in Arkady Kubicki, U.S. Ambassador to Poland Mark Brzezinski said.
During an interview with TVN24, the US ambassador spoke about the details of President Biden’s visit, which will take place on February 20 and 22. He announced that he would fly to Warsaw on Monday evening.

President Biden will address the Polish nation at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. Everyone is invited. It takes place in the Kubicki Arcades, in the gardens of the Royal Castle
he inquired.
I think President Biden wants to go back to Poland and say “thank you.”
said Brzezinski.
This is a historic moment. Never before has an American president visited Poland twice in one year. It’s a great honour
assessed the ambassador.
It will be a time when you can personally see the President of the United States addressing you about the crisis that is going on in Central Europe today. This is a historic moment
he argued.
As the ambassador said, the place of the US president’s speech is important.
Kubicki Arcades are located in the old town. The Old Town, like all of Warsaw, was tragically destroyed and rebuilt from the ashes during World War II. This symbolism of rebuilding from the ashes has such deep meaning given what we want to do, what we will do with Ukraine
he stressed.
When asked what kind of message Biden would bring from Warsaw to Moscow, the ambassador replied:
That we will assist the Ukrainians as long as it is necessary. We don’t leave them alone. We’re not stopping, we’re not going back. We will support the Ukrainians for as long as it takes. We will protect those who support the Ukrainians, such as Poland and every inch of land.
Brzezinski also said Biden’s wish was for everyone to be invited to the speech.
NATO territory is protected, the Alliance is cohesive – it is successfully supporting the Ukrainian nation to defend itself, and the Polish nation has accepted millions of refugees
– said the ambassador, pointing out that the rapid mobilization of Poles to help Ukrainians appeals to the American people.
To me as an American this reminds me of America’s response after the attack on Pearl Harbor – there was rapid mobilization, industry switched to the war routes
– added.
Meeting with Andrzej Duda
Brzezinski also said a meeting with President Andrzej Duda is scheduled during Biden’s visit.
There are so many dimensions to US-Polish relations right now. There is a military dimension – more than 10,000 US soldiers are stationed on Polish soil and stand shoulder to shoulder with Polish soldiers to defend Poland and NATO
— he also emphasized and mentioned the cooperation of non-governmental organizations, as well as good business relations.
Another highlight of the US president’s visit will be his participation in the Bucharest Nine Summit on Wednesday, where further support for Ukraine will be discussed.
When asked if Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky would attend the B9 meeting, Brzezinski replied:
It is a meeting of the leaders of the Bucharest Nine. They will talk about joint defense, how they will continue to support Ukraine. I think it will be a meeting of these leaders.
When asked if he expected Zelensky’s visit, he replied:
I do not expect the presence of President Zelensky.
The ambassador also said Biden’s visit will be limited to Warsaw only and the schedule is still being finalized. He admitted that, apart from official talks, it is possible to meet the families of US embassy personnel.
