According to the Russian diplomat, the meeting between Moscow and Kyiv can only be conducted on the basis of the present fact.
“Yes, the classics say that any hostility ends with negotiations, and naturally we have already said that we will be ready for such negotiations,” said Vershinin.
He also added that Russia and Ukraine can only discuss topics and goals that have already been made public by the Russian side.
The deputy head of the diplomatic department has yet to give further details about the alleged negotiations between Moscow and Kyiv.
