“There was some confusion after the White House contacted us. Fox Soul looks forward to an interview with the President of the United States,” he said.
Biden will give an interview on February 11, the day of the final game of the American football national league.
Earlier, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre reported that Fox News canceled its broadcast with the American leader. Biden said he looked forward to the Fox Soul interview to “discuss the Super Bowl, the state of the country, and the critical issues affecting the daily lives of black Americans.”
Before that, Fox News was Joe Biden’s booed during his speech in Congress. According to the channel, many Republican lawmakers denounced him for lying to his words about Republicans’ desire to cut benefits programs and Medicare for the elderly.
Biden also accused the Republican Party of wanting to “hostage” the economy. “Some of my Republican friends want to take the economy hostage,” the US president said.
