Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with aviation industry representatives dedicated to the 100th anniversary of domestic civil aviation, said that this year a slight, but still growth in economic indicators is expected.
He noted that after the start of special operations in Ukraine and the implementation of sanctions, the Russian economy faced some difficulties and that “this is inevitable”. For those who tried to cause trouble to the Russian Federation, it was surprising, in his view, that the Russian Federation effectively countered the threats posed to the economy and production.
“International institutions believe that Russia has not only coped with these anticipated shocks, <…> However, this year is small by all indicators, but growth is expected not only by us, but also by international organizations.”
