Pushkov responded to Arestovich’s prediction about the creation of “South Korea” from Ukraine

Federation Council Senator Alexei Pushkov wrote telegraph channelHe said that Oleksiy Arestovich, a former adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, announced that “South Korea” would be made from Ukraine was a political illusion.

According to the senator, South Korea will never leave Ukraine in terms of living standards and development.

“This is a kind of new political dream, a new post-Challenge dream presented to Ukrainians by people seeking a place for themselves in Ukraine’s future power system,” said Pushkov.

In other respects, he added, the analogy with South Korea doesn’t work either.

Earlier in the day, Arerestovic declarationthat the Ukrainian side could repeat the “Korean scenario” after the end of the conflict.

Deputy Director of the Center for Comprehensive European and International Studies, Faculty of World Economy and International Relations, National Research University Higher School of Economics Dmitry Suslov statedthat an armistice and its subsequent freezing could become a realistic scenario for the development of the conflict in Ukraine.
