Russian Federation Ambassador to Denmark Vladimir Barbin said that Denmark did not provide any information about the progress and results of the investigation into the explosions in Nord Stream natural gas pipelines, and that there was no cooperation with the Russian Federation on this issue. According to him, systematic work was carried out to promote political dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation between Russia and Denmark in 2019-2021. The diplomat noted that despite the opposition from the USA, permission was obtained from the Danish authorities for the construction of Nord Stream 2.
“The Danish side is currently not providing any information on the progress and results of the sabotage investigation into the gas pipelines,” he says.
Barbin emphasized that Denmark did not cooperate with the Russian Federation on this issue and that the secrecy of the investigation raises many questions.
According to him, today it is widely accepted that explosions on gas pipelines were carefully prepared.
