The Kremlin answered the question of whether dialogue between the USA and Russia is possible at START 13:04

Russian President’s Press Secretary, Dmitry Peskov, commented in The Wall Street Journal that the US State Department accuses Russia of violating the Strategic Arms Reduction and Limitation Treaty (START) for “blocking” American controls. He said he had very few clues. Dialogue between Moscow and Washington, however, needs to be sustained.

“There are a few clues, but as sad as the situation is at the moment, at least some clues should remain.”

Peskov noted that the Russian side considers the continuation of this agreement “very important”.

“Actually, he’s the only one left. We see that the US has effectively destroyed the legal framework in the field of arms control and security. There are many nuances,” the Kremlin spokesperson said.

According to Peskov, Moscow sees how NATO’s entire military infrastructure works against the Russian Federation.

“We see how the entire NATO infrastructure works 24/7 in the interests of the Ukrainian regime. This creates very very special conditions, hostile conditions for us that we cannot ignore,” he added.

Dmitry Peskov also said that there is a proposal to introduce a moratorium on the law on public procurement until the end of the special military operation. should work at the government level.
