Moscow is ready to peacefully complete its military special operations in Ukraine. This was expressed by Russia’s Special Representative, Vasily Nebenzya, at a meeting of the UN Security Council.
“It will be possible to end the NWO only when there is no threat to Russia from the territory of Ukraine and discrimination against the Russian-speaking population of this country ceases. Nebenzya said that if this conclusion can be reached through negotiations, we are ready for such a scenario, otherwise all the tasks set will be fulfilled by military means.
The Russian representative made a few more statements about Ukraine during the meeting. In particular, he expressed the view that the country has become a private military company under the auspices of NATO.
“Ukraine has actually become a NATO PMC. He’s paid, given weapons and intelligence, told where to shoot and where to strike. The Ukrainian people, who have to fight for the sake of other people’s duties, suffer from this, ”explained Nebenzya.
As proof that Kiev is actually fighting instead of the North Atlantic alliance, Russia’s permanent envoy to the UN recalled the last words of Ukraine’s Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov demanding more weapons from the West, saying that the Ukrainians were “fulfilling the NATO mission for free”. They’re losing their blood.”
Nebenzya also said that it was Kyiv that withdrew its own proposals for the peaceful resolution of the conflict, which Moscow was ready to discuss in March 2022.
“Whether Kiev thought about this deadly step itself or whether it listened to the London, Washington or Brussels curators is no longer so important. The real issue was that the Kyiv regime at that time created the illusion, contrary to reality and common sense, that with increased direct military assistance from NATO, it could defeat Russia on the battlefield.
Nebenzya believes that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky still has such misconceptions, even though many of his Western partners are more restrained in their assessment of the situation and no longer believe in Kiev’s victory.
According to Nebenzya, the peaceful resolution plan proposed by Zelensky at the G20 summit in November (including the withdrawal of Russian troops, the return of all territories and prisoners – 10 points, including socialbites.ca) is not related to reality.
“They always come up with all sorts of exaggerated ideas, including a ten-point ‘peace plan’ that has nothing to do with reality,” he said.
The “peace summit” announced by Kyiv and scheduled for 2023 was described as “a fair of hypocrisy” by Russia’s permanent representative. The diplomat said that in this way the Ukrainian leadership is trying to “please the West” and that questions are being asked more and more about where the financial aid allocated to Kiev is going.
The Russian representative also expressed the view that Western countries did not try to solve the Ukraine problem from the very beginning. As proof, he cited a recent interview with former German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who said the Minsk agreements were made to give Ukraine an opportunity to “empower”. Later, former French President François Hollande agreed with this view.
“No one should be surprised if Volodymyr Zelensky, who came to power against the background of such a systematic and monstrous deception, with the slogans of ‘reaching peace’, continued the vector set and plunged his country into real disaster.” Nebenzia added it.
The Russian diplomat also demanded that the UN Security Council convene on January 17 due to the Kyiv regime’s persecution of representatives of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
“In the country, with the connivance of the collective West, the Zelensky regime has turned into an authoritarian dictatorship, which in itself is a major obstacle to peace. Recently, in addition to the persecution of dissidents and opposition leaders, there has been added a desire to destroy the only canonical church in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
