Germany’s Foreign Ministry summoned Iran’s ambassador to Berlin after the execution of a British-Iranian citizen in Iran. These release reports Spiegel citing sources in diplomatic circles.

The publication states that this was done on the backdrop of the execution of Alirez Akbari, whom the Iranian government suspected of spying for the British intelligence services.

According to Annalena Burbock, head of the German Foreign Ministry, the execution of an Anglo-Iranian national is “another inhuman act” by the Iranian authorities.

“We stand by our British friends and will continue to closely coordinate our actions against the regime and our support for the Iranian people,” Burbock said.

Former British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak prisoner Former Deputy Defense Minister of Iran Alireza Akbari was executed in Iran. According to him, he was shocked by the death of an Anglo-Iranian national.

As stated by the British Prime Minister, he extends his condolences to Akbari’s relatives. He also stressed that his thoughts are currently with the family and friends of Iran’s former deputy defense minister.
