A committee of the US Congress House of Representatives is requesting data from the Treasury Department on the business transactions of President Joe Biden’s family. The committee plans to consider them as a threat to U.S. national security, DEA News.
On January 11, committee chair James Comer asked Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen to provide information on suspicious transactions of the Biden family and accomplices recorded by US banks.
It also demanded that several former heads of the social network Twitter, which is responsible for censoring the publication of the business plans of the family of the American president, testify at the hearing on February 6.
According to Comer, the Democratic administration and US tech giants “worked overtime for the past two years to cover up the suspicious business deals of the Biden family and the incumbent’s involvement in them.”
He added that Americans should be aware of the extent to which Joe Biden is involved in these agreements and whether they threaten “national security and decision-making as head of state.”
