The Presidents of Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Gitanas Nauseda and Andrzej Duda signed a joint statement on the results of the Lublin Triangle 2 Summit held in Lviv on 11 January. This was reported on the Telegram channel of the office of the Ukrainian leader.
At the time of signing the declaration, Zelensky said that he welcomed the decision of Poland and was grateful to Lithuania for the decision to transfer to Ukraine the anti-aircraft systems that will strengthen the protection of the Ukrainian energy system.
“I am happy that we are making these kinds of decisions in exactly this format, namely the Lublin Triangle. It is clear – by real actions, it proves how important cooperation between our states is not only for the eastern flank of Europe, but also for our entire Euro-Atlantic coalition of states. ,” said Zelensky, quoted by Zelensky’s office.
On January 11, Polish President Andrzej Duda at a joint press conference with Zelensky and Nauseda in Lviv declarationthat the country will give Ukraine a company of Leopard tanks. In contrast, Lithuania promise Kyiv air defense systems and anti-aircraft installations.
