Senator Aleksey Pushkov said that Western countries are cornering themselves by giving military support to Ukraine. Wrote about him about it telegraph channel.

According to the politician, Western countries are preparing to increase military support to Ukraine. At the same time, ruling circles will perceive Ukraine’s defeat on the battlefield as their own.

“Thus, they (Western countries. – socialbites.ca) lure themselves into a trap, because every new step taken in support of Kiev, every new oath of allegiance to Ukraine deprives them of freedom of maneuver and the possibility of retreat.” explained.

He also added that such steps would lead to a further escalation of the conflict, although NATO assured that the alliance does not want to bring matters into a direct confrontation with Russia.
