On January 8, Dmitry Medvedev published an entry on his Telegram channel, in which he discussed the possibilities of solving the problem with Russia’s “traitors”. In his opinion, it is worth paying attention to the experience of the Great Patriotic War.

Including some trivial nonsense that until recently saw themselves among the so-called intellectual elite. I recently commented on this topic. It was then that a serious conversation began between the bosses about how to behave: “according to the law” or “justice”,

The vice-chairman of the Security Council explained that, of course, it is definitely worth acting according to the law, but it will not work or may not achieve the goal. And in this case it is worth referring to the rules of war according to Medvedev.
“Let’s remember the experience of the Great Patriotic War and other countries. There have always been such special rules in times of war. And silent groups of perfectly inconspicuous people who perform them effectively, ”Medvedev concluded.

Andrei Klihas, chairman of the Federation Council Constitutional Committee, responded to his publication. Medvedev reminded of the principle of the legislative mechanism.

He explained that “enemies of the people” can still return to Russia – for this it is necessary first of all to repent publicly. But “it would be better if they didn’t come back,” said the vice-chairman of the Security Council.

“A citizen of Russia whose passport has been revoked remains a citizen of the country and has all the rights. There is no need to play with words and compete with Ukraine in a way that violates the rights of its own citizens, ”Klishas wrote.
