The more they are convinced that this is the end of PiS and that you have to share seats, the more I think they will switch to it. There will be no change of power in the fall. I am increasingly sure of that. Besides, I think it’s time to finally start talking about it so there are no surprises
Tusk is already “calculating”. He’s already “bagging guys out” and giving himself 100 days to “clean up after PiS”. Other opposition politicians and their supporters are no more cautious on this issue. Even the usually conservative Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz gets carried away by this wave the opposition is creating for itself and joins the chorus of politicians cursing the president of PKN Orlen. Probably on the same wave Prof. Maciej Górecki from the psychology department of the University of Warsaw, who probably dreams of another banking ghetto, because he encourages you to make “lists of journalists, artists, scientists who have sold themselves to PiS” to “make them later to ignore and ridicule” systematically.” Ah, how beautiful this “world after PiS” must be!

All this can happen, but there is one condition: elections must be won. Unfortunately, at the moment it does not look like a victory for the opposition. The mere wave they produce and repeat, like incantations, that it is already, that they are taking over, means nothing. And there are no other arguments.
A year before the elections in which PiS came to power, the office of prime minister was taken over by Ewa Kopacz, the queen of Polish political comedy. It was a real setback. Nothing was right there. Neither in politics, nor in economics, nor in voting. PiS had an idea for change and – what’s even worse for the current opposition – it implemented it and is still executing it. That is why there is no slump in the polls a year before the election. And it should be. And the opposition feels it. Hence the feverish incantations and destructive struggle in the media to disgust people with a government that has to operate under extremely difficult conditions. The most bizarre example is the one with coal, which at first was not supposed to be there, then it was “bad”, and in the end it turned out that there was “too much” of it.
And so with everything. This is the drunken dance of the opposition. From wall to wall. It is their right to repeat that inflation is high. But on repeat it won’t decrease, and – to be honest – I don’t see them having a clue about it, especially since they don’t even associate price increases with the war (only with PiS).
So Poland will not get any better from the change of power. I don’t see a “good change of PO” on the horizon. I don’t hear about her. It’s hard for me to imagine. Therefore, I repeat, I encourage you to spread this thought: you must finally start saying it so that there are no surprises. In the autumn we will witness the total defeat of the opposition.
