Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko said Western attempts to undermine cooperation between Moscow and Beijing were unsuccessful. The diplomat said this in an interview. TASS.

“The West’s line of overt blackmail and overt threat to undermine cooperation between our states has not succeeded,” Rudenko said.

According to him, opponents of the Russian Federation are also trying to undermine its relations with Mongolia, calling this country the “third neighbor”.

Rudenko expressed his confidence that the Mongols have enough wisdom not to follow the leadership of the West and not to overcome the traps set by it, and to ensure the healthy, constructive development of relations with Russia that meet the interests of the two countries.

The representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reminded that Russia and Mongolia continue their cooperation in the military field. Thus, the Mongolian army participated in the Vostok-2022 command and staff exercises, the International Army Games and other events in Russia. Joint exercises were also held in Mongolia.
