Andrey Rudenko, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, said that Japan has not given up its anti-Russian course, so dialogue on the peace agreement is impossible. It has been reported TASS.
According to him, signing a peace treaty with a state that takes hostile attitudes and threatens the Russian side is unquestionable.
“We do not see Tokyo moving away from its anti-Russian course and any attempt to rectify the current situation,” Rudenko said.
Earlier, the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation said that Moscow considers Tokyo’s policy to abandon the peaceful development of Japan as a serious threat to the security of Russia and the Asia-Pacific region as a whole.
Before that, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida declarationhe no longer sees the conditions for discussing the possibility of signing a peace treaty with Russia.
In his speech, Kishida noted that the course of Japan-Russia relations is extremely difficult.
