Dmitry Polyansky, First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, in a statement telegraph channelHe said that the UN Security Council’s statement on the Lachin corridor could not be accepted due to the actions of France that took part in its preparation.
Polyansky described as “absolutely wrong” the presentation of information regarding the rejection of the UN Security Council’s statement on the Lachin corridor.
“At Yerevan’s request, this process was coordinated by the French, who ignored the vast majority of our proposals while considering corrections from other Security Council members. “It’s obvious how dirty these Paris methods are,” said Polyansky.
At the same time, he added that the Russian side is not verbally but de facto engaged in resolving the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh. This also applies to the Lachin corridor.
