Taras Melnychuk, representative of the Council of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, said on the Telegram channel that Ukraine has withdrawn from the agreement with the DPRK on the establishment of an intergovernmental commission on economic, scientific and technical cooperation.
“The agreement on the establishment of an intergovernmental commission on commercial, economic, scientific and technical cooperation between the government of Ukraine and the government of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea was signed in the city of Kyiv on June 8, 1994,” he wrote.
According to him, this decision was taken because of North Korea’s support for “Russian aggression” in Ukraine, recognition of the “independence” of the DPR and LPR, and the rupture of Ukraine’s relations with this country.
