Poland’s 2050 leader said the “zero” financial report submitted by his party to the PKW for 2021 is due to it being validly registered only recently. She didn’t have a bank account yet. He intends to appeal against the decision of the PKW to the Supreme Court.
“I fundamentally disagree with that.”

I disagree in principle with what the PKW has said, I think it is highly unfair, we will appeal against this to the Supreme Court
– said the leader of Poland 2050 when asked about his party’s financial report rejected by the PKW.
As Rzeczpospolita reported on Friday, the Hołownia Party submitted a report showing that it was practically out of action for the entire year. She put +0+ in each of the boxes and said, among other things: about funds deposited, donations and accepted non-monetary values.
Hołownia explained in “Fakty po Faktach” that his party’s registration took one year: from March 2021 to March 2022, and the legal entry in the register two months later.
Previously, all banks refused to open an account with us, explaining that we are not legally registered or that they do not maintain accounts of political parties
he explained. He added that Poland 2050 tried to open an account with different banks and was refused everywhere
If we wanted to act legally, and we did, we could only run the activities of the association, of which I am also president. If there was an event, it was organized by an association or the Institute for Strategy 2050. Nothing was organized by the party
Holownia insured.
According to Rzeczpospolita, one of the reasons for the party’s problems with the 2021 financial report was the Poland 2050 movement congress in September 2021 and its “special guest”, the Jaśmina application. According to the PKW daily, “the party accepted benefits from the Polska 2050 Association and the Strategies 2050 Institute in the form of promoting the group’s activities, which violated the rules, which resulted in the rejection of the report.”
Who wouldn’t want to share a “cake” with Hołownia?
Poland 2050 does not receive any subsidies, so the National Electoral Commission’s rejection of the party’s financial report has a symbolic dimension. But as noted in the Rzeczpospolita publication, it is embarrassing for the formation anyway, because the allegations are serious.
Due to lack of registration, we waited 1.5 years to build party structures! Where would we be today if it wasn’t!
complained the group leader. Proving that this is a deliberate game of big parties who don’t want to let the new power “divide the pie”.
