Advisor to the President of Moldova: Authorities want to buy more deadly weapons in the West

Dorin Recean, the national security adviser to the President of Moldova, said that although its constitution stipulates the status of neutrality, Western states should provide their country with more weapons. “Our leadership says they will bring as many deadly weapons as they can,” Rechan said, noting that Moldova does not have the money for this, but that the country’s defense minister, Anatoly Nosatii, “actually begs”.
