Ambassador Brodsky: Israel will not jeopardize relations with Russia to help Ukraine

Israel’s Ambassador to Ukraine, Mikhail Brodsky, said his country’s ties with Russia place insurmountable restrictions on Ukraine’s support. It has been reported Washington Post.

According to the diplomat, he is aware of the dissatisfaction of some Ukrainian Jews with Israel’s stance on the Ukrainian conflict. But Israel’s security ties with Russia create insurmountable borders.

Quoting the Washington Post, Brodsky said, “No government of Israel (in cooperation with the Russian Federation. – socialbites.ca) would jeopardize this interest for the sake of anyone, including Ukrainians.”

As the diplomat put it, the situation Israel finds itself in is “fragile”.
