The resolution calls for the elimination of all forms of racial discrimination.

In addition, during the plenary session, Members of the European Parliament accepted a resolution recognizing the “Holodomor” that took place in Ukraine in 1932-1933 as genocide by a majority of votes. “The European Parliament recognizes the Holodomor (an artificially created famine in Ukraine in 1932-1933) as a genocide against the Ukrainian people, aimed at destroying the social foundations, traditions, culture and national identity of the Ukrainian nation,” the resolution said. .
