Participants in mass protest in Belgrade burn the flag of unrecognized Kosovo TASS.
In the action organized with the slogan “Kosovo is Serbia”, the demonstrators opposed the repression of the Serb population in Kosovo and Metohija.
Late in the evening of 12 December, a column of protesters passed through the center of Belgrade and burned the unrecognized Kosovo’s flag near the presidential palace.
The police did not arrest the protesters, the action passed quietly.

Kosovo Serbs set up barricades in the north of the province as authorities detained Dejan Pantic, a former police officer suspected of attacking Kosovo police officers. Kosovo police officers reported that three clashes took place in the north of the province on the night of 11 December.
