“I hear on the sidelines of the Sejm that even parliamentary colleagues are starting to get tired of Tusk, they would like to replace him with someone else, but for now we just see him bouncing from wall to wall, PiS MP Piotr Kaleta tells the portal wPolityce .pl.

wPolityce.pl: What would you say about Donald Tusk’s statements at MeetUp?
Pyotr Kaleta: At the moment, Donald Tusk is in a phase where he is testing a bit more, to check whether Polish society remembers all the nonsense he invented, but later put into practice. Although he raised the retirement age, he later claimed to have lowered it anyway. Regarding the 500 Plus program, he claimed that such a program had already been prepared by the PO. Or even issues related to defense and finally the development of smaller towns or helping Polish families.
I kind of regret that our whole bunch, who could go into something else, have to deny what Donald Tusk says, remind him of his lies and insolence. And I dreamed so much that finally, instead of talking about PiS, this man would say something about Poland – what he would do for Poland. We all know he would like to take PiS out of power. But – specifically – what would he like to do?
Here we have such an intellectual void, both in Tusk and in his party. All I hear from the PO leader is that he is furious. And then? Anger does he want to propose to us? But this is no longer that era and time.
The PO leader also made a very interesting announcement about Patron Roman Giertych. It is true that after the possible victory of the PO in the elections, the former chairman of the Al-Polish Youth will not become Attorney General, because he apparently does not even want to, but Donald Tusk would be happy to cooperate with him
If anyone observes the Polish political scene even the slightest, the appearance of Roman Giertych on it is nothing new to him. Roman Giertych still functions in Polish politics, judging and commenting on it more or less accurately, but on the other hand, even if I were in Donald Tusk’s place, I would seriously consider whether Giertych is really the person I want to be around. would like to go. Well, it’s his choice.
Donald Tusk also stated that he wanted to defend the “rights of young people”. But does it really have something to offer young people?
Maybe he would like to be a little younger. He’ll remind you that he can play football or even use the phrase “essa” which is the youth word of the year, but that’s probably all he has going for it.
There is an evangelical principle: “You shall know them by their fruits”. And we’re still wrestling with the fruits of the PO’s rule, we’re still fixing them and we need to unscrew some things. If this man wants to propose something good for the Polish youth, then I listen – let him beat the Law and Justice offer, which is not just on the table at the moment, but simply being carried out.
I understand your offer to the young and educated is different from today, Donald Tusk was kind enough to describe it as “blind loyalty and obedience”, “capitulation” to the authorities?
Donald Tusk needs to understand one thing: we live in a democratic country. Only citizens decide their loyalty or obedience to the authorities in free, democratic elections, which Law and Justice has already won twice.
What was it like during the civilian platform era? Let’s think back to the problems of censorship on the internet or approaching fans, for example. Really, Donald Tusk, don’t get bogged down in these matters.
I hear on the sidelines of the Sejm that even parliamentary colleagues are getting fed up with Tusk, they would like to replace him with someone else, but for now we just see a wall-to-wall bounce.
Potential coalition partners, most likely the left and Szymon Hołownia, also received from the PO leader. In the context of a possible collaboration with lawyer Giertych, Tusk stated that he valued such figures more than left-liberal groups, whom he accused of “collaborating with PiS”.
Roman Giertych, if we remember his political path, was probably a politician who presented himself as a right-wing “Orthodox”. For example, the League of Polish Families and the All-Polish Youth oppose Poland’s accession to the European Union. Giertych himself called the civic platform “ciamciaramcia”. But hey, you can’t forbid the PO leader to play with whoever he wants.
And how would you react to the statement about the President of the National Bank of Poland, Adam Glapiński?
Tusk will go to great lengths to insult any person or institution that functions democratically in a democratic country. Donald Tusk and his entire retinue, the economic “elite”, Prof. Adam Glapinski, could.
Thank you very much for the interview.
