A criminal case was opened after the publication of the Ukrayinska Pravda publication, which stated that Kyrylo Tymoshenko, vice-president of the Office of the President of Ukraine, had an expensive car, the 2021 model Porsche Taycan, in his possession. This was reported by the publication itself, citing three law enforcement sources.
The post about the car was made public on 1 December and was illustrated by a picture taken from a traffic camera. The minimum cost of an officer’s car, depending on the configuration, is $81,000 (approximately 5 million rubles).
According to Ukrayinska Pravda, the case is being handled by the Investigation Department of Especially Serious Crimes of the Investigation Department of the Main Directorate of the Kyiv National Police. During the investigation, they want to identify who illegally copied information from the CCTV camera system.
